We’re off on our first-ever family cruise to Alaska—celebrating my aunt’s 80th birthday and taking our four kids on the road in our dream RV.



Instead of hopping on a plane, we decided to make this a true family adventure—slowly meandering up the West Coast from Joshua Tree.

As lifelong tent campers, this feels like stepping into a new level of luxury—and a new level of surrender.


I’m not packing my work. Sure, I can work on my business (and I might). But this time, it’s a choice. Not an obligation.
