"This was an amazing experience for Henry and I to have together, away from home. It gave me permission to not be a perfect mom, but also let us grow in our own relationship and practice having fun together. Moms need more supportive getaways offered like this."

This is one example of a how a day might be: 08:00 National Park Excursion walking distance to your room while it's still cool and your babe has lots of energy. 09:00 Mommy and Me Yoga to connect as a group and relax. 10:00 Make a Turtle Snack and Storytime 12:00 Lunch is Served 13:00 - 16:30 Free time for Mama and Child bonding, napping, relaxing, exploring, taking a dip in the wading pool, and village visits. A light, healthy snack of fruit, nuts and crackers is available whenever you please. 16:30 Dinner is available to enjoy at your leisure. 17:00 Childcare Providers arrive. The children have specially designed programs with a range of activities including circle time, painting, crafts, playing, dressing up and dance. 17:15- Depart for Mom's Night Out for Sunset Soak at Natural Hot Springs and heart-expanding workshop to make space for your own vision and dreams. 19:30-21:00 Bedtime for babes and wind-down time for Moms.

How should I plan to arrive and depart?

The retreat kicks off with a welcome dinner and orientation around 6 pm. Feel free to check-in as early as 430 pm. Our time together wraps up late morning on Sunday, around 1030 am after a closing circle. We recommend securing travel that allows you to be present for all activities so we can keep the group in connection from start to finish. If you are flying, we reccommend you allot 1.5-2 hours at the airport before your departure time. If you would like to get the most out of your flights and enjoy more days in Joshua Tree, go for it! We offer the rideshare service on our set start and end dates, but there are Uber-Lyfts/car rentals readily available from the surrounding airports.

What will the weather be like?

The average temperatures in Joshua Tree in May and October are around 77-86 degrees Fahrenheit which is perfect for yoga and perfect for babes. There is an average of 13 hours of sunshine per day. Nights can be cooler so bring sweaters, wraps and a warm pajama or sleeping bag if you have a baby. The rooms in the houses stay nice and cool in the day but can be fresh at night. Bring some socks or slippers/flip flops for walking around inside and some sandals for walking to the hot tub and pool area.

What additional options are available?

Meals, lodging and activites are included in the package price for you and one child. Additional services include *a Ride Share Service to/from airport *Option to bring friend/mother/helper to share a room, savor three meals per full day, enjoy a treatment and join the Mom circle *Option to bring a second Child *Additional Treatment/Consult (Varies)

How old should my baby be?

All babies and small children are welcome. You can bring your baby-to-be, newborn or six year-old. Most Mamas come with kids aged from about 2 to 4 years.

What about COVID?

I view COVID similar to the flu and take precautions accordingly. Neither my kids nor myself will wear masks unless required at excursions like the local Farmer's Market. I respect and honor your decision. If you or your child are sick, please stay home to recover as quickly as possible. We will reschedule your retreat to the next available date.

How many Moms will there be?

To help gain the most out of our time together and make stronger connections, our group size is limited. There will always be me and my kiddos. Our cozy spacious homes hold between two and five families. This way we can truly tailor our services to you and your child's uniqueness.

"I’ve always gone on yoga retreats and wanted to find one to share with my daughter. I wasn’t expecting to have the benefit of soul connections with other moms and be so inspired and learn so much about how to be the best mom I can be."
